Description
My group (James, Tyler, Chris) chose to make a presentation on the Great Hammerhead shark. The hammerhead is critically endangered. Humans are their biggest predators. People fish for there meat, skin, fins, and natural oils. Their fins are sold, their skin and oils are used for medicine, and they are used as food.
Content
Evolution- the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.
Artificial Selection- The breeding of plants and animals to produce desirable traits.
Natural Selection- The process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring.
Biodiversity- The variety of life in the world or in a particular habitat or ecosystem.
Speciation- The formation of new and distinct species in the course of evolution.
Survival of the Fittest- The continued existence of organisms that are best adapted to their environment, with the extinction of others, as a concept in the Darwinian theory of evolution.
Extinction- The state or process of a species, family, or larger group being or becoming extinct.
Gene Pool- The stock of different genes in an interbreeding population.
Mutation- The changing of the structure of a gene, resulting in a variant form that may be transmitted to subsequent generations, caused by the alteration of single base units in DNA, or the deletion, insertion, or rearrangement of larger sections of genes or chromosomes.
Gene Flow- When gene flow is the transfer of genetic variation from one population to another.
Non-Random Mating- Occurs when the probability that two individuals in a population will mate is not the same for all possible pairs of individuals.

Our Presentation
Reflection
During this project I feel like I could have done better. I didn't really do much on the slide show, and I got off task a lot of the time. I could have written more and taken more of a lead in this project. I did not lead at all, I let Chris lead us. I feel like I did well on the video though and the presentation. I presented well and the video had so much quality.
I did get distracted a lot and played a lot of games while I should have been working, My shoulder partner and I worked well in the games but didn't execute well on the slide show. It was pretty funny when I wore the shark costume into the class to present though.
